Pollinate Old Lyme is an initiative created by the Sustainable Old Lyme Team and maintained as a grassroots effort across Town.
Our mission is to educate Old Lyme residents and business owners on the environmental benefits of supporting pollinators such as birds, butterflies and other insects. To do so, we encourage property owners to add native plants and reduce invasive plant species, eliminate pesticide and herbicide use, and decrease the size of lawn. We accomplish this through Community Education that includes:
- Workshops and Speaking Engagements
- Educational Public Spaces with Pollinator Havens
- An e-newsletter, Buzzings
If you would like to stay up-to-date on our latest information, email Pollinate Old Lyme team to receive our e-newsletter and workshop announcements.
