The charge of the Old Lyme Emergency Operations Center Expansion Project Building Committee is to assess the needs of the building in relation to its function as an Emergency Operations Center. 

  • Oversee the planning, design, and construction of the expansion space of the facility
  • Share and discuss any information already gathered regarding renovation and estimated costs available
  • Review available ideas on multiple building uses 
  • Assess the need for additional space, focusing on square footage needed, flexibility of new space and ADA requirements
  • Determine technology needs
  • Developing a budget estimate and budget report format
  • Make recommendations to Boards of Selectmen and Finance
  • Other necessary tasks as needed
