Invitation to Bid
The Town of Old Lyme is seeking sealed bids for the construction of new Restroom Facilities located at 166 Boston Post Rd (Hains Park). Documents will be available to contractors for bidding on May 15, 2020. All bids are to be received in the First Selectman’s Office, Town of Old Lyme Town Hall, 52 Lyme Street, Old Lyme, CT 06371 until 2 PM on July 1, 2020, at which time bids will be publicly opened.
This project consists of construction of new restroom facilities in accordance with plans, specifications, addenda, and amendments supplied as part of the bid documents. Plans and specifications can be examined and or obtained from the Selectman’s Office by request at 52 Lyme Street, Old Lyme, CT 06371, Monday through Friday between 9 AM and 4 PM.
CORRECTION: A mandatory site visit at 166 Boston Post Rd is scheduled for Wednesday May 27, 2020 at 9 AM.
Questions about this project may be submitted in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org by 4 PM on June 10, 2020. All questions received will have answers posted on this page by 4 PM on June 17, 2020.
The Town expects to select a successful bidder and award a contract by Friday July 17, 2020 and construction to begin on or about August 1, 2020. This work is set to be completed in 90 days with an anticipated completion date of November 1, 2020.
