The new basketball rims have been ordered and the new tennis posts and nets will be installed soon. Road ClosureMonday, October 30, around 10:30AM, there will be a funeral procession of fire trucks in honor of 53 year Veteran Firefighter Rick Colangeli. The procession will depart from the Fulton-Theroux Funeral home, up Beckwith Lane and Lyme Street to the Firehouse. The procession will then leave the firehouse and travel to Christ the King Church. There will be some traffic delays during this timeframe. Election Information - Voter Registration DeadlineThe Registrars’ office is located on the mezzanine level of the Memorial Town Hall, 52 Lyme Street, Old Lyme. All election information is available on the Town’s website. - Tuesday, October 31: The Registrars of Voters will hold its last regular voter registration session on October 31, 2023, from 9:00AM to 8:00PM.
- Monday, November 6: The Registrars of Voters will hold a special voter registration session on November 6, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for individuals who have met one or more of the following criteria during the period of November 1st through November 6th:
- Turned 18 years of age
- Have become a U.S. Citizen
- Have moved to Connecticut
- This registration session is also open to members of the Armed Forces, and former Armed Forces members who have been discharged within the calendar year.
Pumpkin Compost CollectionThe Lyme Old Lyme Food Share Garden would like your pumpkins when you are done with your pumpkin fun. They will be collecting non-painted pumpkins on Saturday, November 4 from 9AM to 12PM at the Town Woods Park, they will be collecting non painted pumpkins for the garden's compost.
