Recycling News
The School District, with the help of Town Hall and the Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library, has collected over 13,000 pounds of plastic film since 2020. This is plastic that can not be recycled in our curbside bins, but is being recycled by the Trex Company into composite lumber products. If you are not participating, please consider doing so and review the list of plastics on the Trash & Recycle page.
Art Exhibits
In addition to the Roger Tory Peterson's camper artwork on the mezzanine level of Town Hall, we also have on display the LYSB Community Photograph series ShowUP. Be sure to stop in and view this exhibit outside the Meeting Hall and along the lower level stairwell shelf.
It looks like we have more liquid sunshine headed our way, so take a minute to check the storm drains by your homes as well as your gutters and drain pipes to make sure they are debris free.
