Halls Road Improvements Committee Awarded $28,500

Governor Ned Lamont and Department of Energy & Environmental Protection Commissioner Katie Dykes announced the recipients of the DEEP’s Connecticut Recreational Trails Program grants, and our Bow Bridge project is one of them. This grant combined with the ARPA grant previously awarded, will help realize the vision of connecting the commercial center of Old Lyme with its Art and Historic District.

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)

FEMA has contracted with the firm Compass to perform an on site inspections of the Connecticut shoreline to evaluate coastal erosion and sea level rise, so you may see some activity during the week of May 22 at Sound View Beach.

The Harbor Management Commission is still waiting for the last few to be claimed.  Please take a minute to look through this slideshow of photos. If you recognize any of these crafts and/or know the owner(s), please contact the HMC immediately. They are subject to removal at the end of the month. 

Old Lyme Town Band at the Lymes' Senior Center

Enjoy a musical night outside (weather permitting) on Wednesday, May 24th at 6pm. If it rains, the concert will be held indoors. This concert is free and open to the public. Bring your own chairs/ blankets & dinner if you would like!

As we start the summer season, the Economic Development Commission is sharing on Explore Old Lyme the opening dates for our seasonal businesses. Please support our small business owners in town as they gear up for the summer season.
