A big welcome to our summer residents. The water meters have been turned on and we are looking forward to the summer season.
Holiday Closing Schedule
The Town Hall and the Transfer Station will be closed tomorrow, Good Friday, April 7th. The Transfer Station will open as usual on Saturday, and will be closed on Monday. The CWPM trash and recycling collection schedule will not change.
Chamber Event
The Lyme-Old Lyme Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce it is joining forces with the Old Saybrook Chamber of Commerce to create regional networking opportunities for our business leaders. Although the all-volunteer Lyme-Old Lyme Chamber is officially disbanding, its longstanding college scholarship program for Lyme-Old Lyme residents will continue with funds transferred to the professionally staffed Old Saybrook Chamber. Although a bittersweet time for the Lyme-Old Lyme Chamber after 90 years, we are excited for the new opportunities the Old Saybrook Chamber will afford our businesses. To celebrate our Old Lyme and Lyme businesses as well as the new regional Chamber presence, Old Lyme and Lyme businesses are invited to a special Bridging Businesses social event on April 26th from 5-7pm. See the recent letter to Lyme-Old Lyme Chamber members for more information and instructions to RSVP.
