Old Lyme’s New Textile Box
Reduce your trash, as well as reduce the Town’s waste management costs. Bring your old clothing and other textiles to the Old Lyme Transfer Station instead of tossing them in your trash. These materials are reprocessed into industrial fibers, insulation and similar materials and the Town will receive $100/ton from Bay State Textiles. Please place your clean items in a plastic bag and bring them to the Old Lyme Transfer Station. Staff will direct you to the right collection bin. See the full list of accepted materials at www.baystatetextiles.com
