• Lymes' Senior Center - Summer Sounds Concert Series

  Come enjoy a summer evening with us! The third concert in our Summer Sounds Concert Series will be held on Thursday, July 18th at 6pm. This Free Live Music Series is sponsored by the Lymes’ Senior Center & the Florence Griswold Museum and will be held on the grounds of the Florence Griswold Museum – 96 Lyme Street, Old Lyme. The band The Cartells will take the stage at 6pm. A band transcending the boundaries of style and able to adapt to virtually any performance situation, The Cartells have built a reputation for being the band of choice for concerts, nightclubs, & private functions of all kinds, and is one of the most popular bands in Connecticut.

The Florence Griswold Museum has gratuitously offered free admission Thursday night before the concert from 4-5pm to their current exhibition Impressionism 150: From Paris to Connecticut & Beyond to folks who are attending the Thursday, July 18th concert. Luigi’s Wood Fired Pizza Risto Food Truck will also be there from 5:30-7pm. Pack a picnic, bring your chairs, blankets, family, friends, and your dancing shoes!
