Road Work graphic

The Connecticut Department of Transportation informed us that the milling and resurfacing project will begin on Route 156 in Old Lyme starting April 9th. The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 4.65-mile segment of Route 156 in Old Lyme. The milling segment for this project is scheduled for Tuesday, April 9 through Tuesday, April 23. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, April 29 through Wednesday, May 15.  The plan is to do the south side of Route 156 from Halls Road to Portland Avenue and then complete the process on the north side. We have notified Region 18, so that school buses will be aware of possible delays.  They will be working from 7AM to 5PM, expect delays as Route 156 will be down to one lane in work areas.
