Tree Work Continues on Open Space
Please be careful when visiting Ames Open Space as utility work is now occurring on the property.
Eversource will remove decommissioned poles and take down telephone lines that run through the town open space property.
Prior to this work, a tree service will remove some growth to enable the utility to better complete its work.
In consultation with the Town Tree Warden, Eversource will minimize the project’s environmental impact. Signs will be posted by Eversource on Ames Open Space warning of the work in progress.
When the power lines have been removed from Champlain North Open Space, a notice of the work's conclusion will be posted.
