January is Tax Month
The 2nd installment of Real Estate and Personal Property taxes are due January 1 through February 1, 2024. These bills were mailed out last June (escrowed mortgage bills were sent to the bank or escrow firm). If you have misplaced your bill, you can print out another copy online.
Pay Taxes online
We accept electronic (ACH) checks ($0.50 fee) and credit/debit card payments (3 percent bank service fee), or checks, money orders and cash in the office. Payments may also be made in person at Town Hall or mailed to 52 Lyme Street, Old Lyme, CT 06371. Partial payment is always accepted.
Supplemental Motor Vehicle Property Taxes for vehicles purchased or registered between Oct. 1, 2022 and August 2023 also are due these same dates. These MV bills will be mailed and posted online on Dec. 28, 2023.
