TOWN OF OLD LYME
SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
A special Town Meeting will be held on Monday, March 12, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Regional School District 18 Middle School, Lyme Street, Old Lyme, Connecticut to consider and act upon the following:
1. To authorize the appropriation of $785,000 to fund Phase II of the Town Woods Recreational Park during the fiscal year 2007 and fiscal year 2008, which expenditure shall be reimbursed by State of Connecticut Small Town Economic Assistance Program (STEAP) grants totaling $650,000 to the Towns of Old Lyme and Lyme. The actual cost in the amount of $135,000 shall be shared 75% by the Town of Old Lyme ($101,250) and 25% by the Town of Lyme ($33,750), said $33,750 to be reimbursed by the Town of Lyme to the Town of Old Lyme as the paying agent for the Phase II project. Said appropriation has been recommended by the Board of Selectmen and the Board of Finance.
2. To consider any other matter appropriate to come before said Town Meeting.
