A free, weekly electronic alert of the hottest animal issues, created and distributed by the Humane Society of the United States. If you register, they'll tell you when federal legislation reaches a critical stage and NEEDS your attention, when comments are due from the public to executive agencies on important animal issues, and
they'll keep you up to date on high profile cruelty cases and other significant events affecting animals (including big victories). Each issue includes names, addresses, phone and fax numbers, and e-mail addresses of decision- makers to contact, making your efforts on behalf of animals both efficient and effective.
This student activist list-serve is an HSUS project linking college and high school animal activists and groups, to help them share ideas and strategies, recruit members, carry out campaigns, and otherwise help animals. Archives and registration information are available on-line.
