Minutes of the December 7, 2006 Town Woods Operating Committee meeting.
Present: Don Bugbee, Bob Dunn, Glynn McAraw, Phil Neaton, Jason Thornton
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm.
Bob Dunn initiated discussions about the upcoming Town Woods Park Phase 2 project. He indicated that the preliminary budget was presented at the last Phase 2 Building Committee meeting. He indicated that the Bids should go out by February 2007 and Construction could start by May 2007. He stated that the detailed funding of the project would be discussed at the Old Lyme Town Meeting scheduled for January 22, 2007.
Bob Dunn initiated discussions about possible upcoming engineering, architectural and attorney fees. Bob suggested that the money for these fees be taken from the Town Woods Park General Fund. The monies would be then reimbursed during the Phase 2 project, if approved. Phil Neaton made a motion, seconded by Glynn McAraw, to authorize the spending of funds, from the account, not to exceed $2000 for attorney fees and funds not to exceed $6000 for engineering and architectural fees. The motion passed unanimously as stated.
Phil Neaton made a motion, seconded by Jason Thornton, to adjourn the meeting. The motion was unanimously approved and the meeting was adjourned at 7:20 pm.
