Special Town Meeting – 1 July 2008 – 7:30 PM - Middle School Auditorium
· To Authorize the transfer of an amount not to exceed $56,000 from the Town’s 2008-2009 capital furniture account to the Town Hall Expansion Project Account for project expenses, as recommended by the Board of Finance.
· To appropriate the sum not to exceed $200,000 from the Town’s surplus account to cover additional expenses associated with the Town Hall Expansion Project, as recommended by the Board of Finance.
· To amend Section G of the Town Code of Ethics as follows:
“Of the five (5) members initially appointed, three (3) members shall be appointed for the term commencing June 2008 and ending 31 January 2011 and two (2) members shall be appointed for the term commencing June 2008 and ending 31 January 2012. All subsequent appointments and reappointments to the Ethics Commission shall be for a term of two (2) years and will end on January 31st.”
