Winter Youth Basketball
Saturday March 6 is the last day of this basketball season.
Thanks to all of the coaches for your able assistance this year.
You gave up valuable time for the benefit of others and that was greatly appreciated.
The programs would not exist as they do without your help.

Teams were formed at the Coaches Meeting held on Saturday Jan 9.
All details of the season were discussed and provided to the Coaches.
Coaches have contacted all players.
The season will run for 8 weeks as follows:
Jan 16, 23, 30 Feb 6, 13, 20, 27 Mar 6
Middle School Gym
Grade K 8:30-9:30
Grade 1 9:35-10:35
Grade 2 10:40-11:40
High School Gym
Grades 3-8 Girls 8:00-9:30
Grades 3-5 Boys 9:40-11:10
Grades 6-8 Boys 11:15-12:45
Basketball Cancellation Policy
If the Basketball Program needs to be cancelled on any particular Saturday,
the Coaches will be contacted as soon as possible by the
Directors of both Lyme and Old Lyme Parks and Recreation.
The Coaches will relay the information to their team
and this website will updated as well.

Sign-ups for the 2010 Winter Basketball Session
have started and will run through November 25.
Registration Forms are available on the Parks and Rec Website.

Forms are also available at the Parks and Rec area
in the lower level of the Old Lyme Town Hall.
Town Hall hours are Mon-Fri 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
The Program is open for Old Lyme Residents in Grades K-8.
( Please note... Lyme Residents must sign up with Lyme Parks and Rec )
The season will tentatively run from Jan 9-Mar 6, 2010
Teams will be formed at a November Coaches Meeting (TBD)
All details will be provided after the meeting.
Fee $40 per Player / $65 per Family

Sessions are held at the High School Gym
Wednesdays 6:30-9:00 pm
Sept 9, 2009 thru June 2, 2010
Lyme and Old Lyme residents only.
No sign-ups or fees.
Teams are formed each week based on participation.
Sessions are not held if school is canceled and will not be made-up.

Zumba
Dance-Fitness Classes
Typical Program is as follows:
Latin-inspired dance fitness classes that incorporates Latin
and International music and dance moves.
Classes are typically 45 minutes of Zumba Dancing and
15 minutes of core strengthening exercise and stretching.
Please bring an exercise matt for the floor work.
Classes are held in the Mile Creek Gym Gym on Thursdays...
7:00 - 8:00 pm.
