Whoooooo’s that Pet?
Some of the creatures going bump in the night this Halloween will be the four-legged participants in the Old Lyme Pet Parade.
Sponsored by the Lyme Old Lyme Council of the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut and the LYSB (Lymes Youth Services Bureau), the Parade is open to Halloween lovers of all ages and their pets. Registration begins at 6pm at the Lyme Street Firehouse on Friday, October 31.
Judges will be lurking on Lyme Street to spot the spookiest spaniels and most bewitching beagles. Participants will receive their awards for best costumes, biggest/smallest pet, and more in front of the Center School. No need to say “Trick...or Dog Biscuit” – the Chamber has predetermined that no pet will leave empty-pawed.
