Governor Rell invites public comment on DOT's long-range plans
Governor M. Jodi Rell today encouraged Connecticut citizens to provide comment and ideas on the Department of Transportation’s Long-Range Plan (LRP) during a series of seven “listening sessions” to be held around the state this month and next. The first was held Monday, November 5, at Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic.

“The people who travel our roads, ride our commuter trains and use our airports, ports and piers are in an excellent position to provide input on Connecticut’s current and future transportation needs,” Governor Rell said. “The Long-Range Plan is a document that is constantly evolving and is frequently adjusted to meet our state’s ever-changing needs.”
