Automated Collection of Solid Waste Trash and Single Stream Recycling
The Town of Old Lyme, CT seeks proposals from qualified bidders to perform weekly automated curbside collection of residential solid waste trash in 35, 65 or 95 gallon carts, as well as comingled recycled materials in 95 gallon carts, which will be provided by the Town.
RFP documents are on the Town's website, http://www.oldlyme-ct.gov under Trash and Recycling, or from the Selectman’s Office, Old Lyme Town Hall, 52 Lyme St, Old Lyme, CT 06371 during the hours of 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday through Friday.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on September 14, 2018 at 9:00 AM at the Old Lyme Town Hall. Sealed bids will be received by the First Selectwoman, Town of Old Lyme until 2:00 PM on Friday, October 12, 2018, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Target Date for awarding the contract is December 3, 2018.
The Town of Old Lyme reserves the right to amend or terminate this request for proposal, accept all or any part of a proposal, reject all proposals, waive any informalities or non-material deficiencies in a proposal, and award the proposal to the proposer that, in the Town's judgment will be in the Town’s best interest.
