Senior Famers’ Market Nutrition Program
A limited number of farmers’ market coupons (check booklets) are now available for eligible senior citizen and disabled town residents.
To participate in the program, you must be 60 years of age or older OR disabled and living in a housing facility primarily occupied by older individuals where congregate nutrition services are provided.
Annual income for a household size of one must not exceed $22,311 and for a household size of two, $30,044.
The checks (valued at $18) can be used at participating local farmers’ markets to purchase fresh fruit and vegetables, honey or cut herbs.
