WINTER STORM UPDATE
March 8, 2018
Currently, Eversource is reporting 2293 outages in town.
Crews are working overnight to repair damaged circuit lines along Whippoorwill Road, Neck Road, Shore Road, Saunders Hollow Road, Beta Ave and Osceola Trail.
Please stay clear of all downed power lines.
If your power has not been restored please report your outage directly to Eversource at 800-286-2000 or online at www.Eversource.com.
To report downed power lines or another emergency, call 911.
All roadways in town have been cleared of obstructions.
Please be cautious around any power restoration crews that may be in the roads.
If you come across a blockage in your travels please call 911.
The Old Lyme EOC Call center will continue to be staffed daily from 8am to 6pm.

For those who continue to be without power, an overnight shelter facility is available at the Montville High School, 800 Old Colchester Road, Oakdale CT.

The Lymes’ Senior Center will re-open tomorrow as a Warming/Respite Center from 9am to 6pm. All are welcome to come and relax, charge your electronic devices, access the internet or have some coffee. The telephone number is 860 434 1605, ext. 240.
Meals on Wheels clients have been individually contacted and any concerns have been addressed.
The increased weight of melting snow on roofs increases the risk of structural collapse. Clearing the snow from roofs and assisting proper drainage will help reduce the weight accumulation.
Lyme/Old Lyme Schools remain closed at this time
Town Hall will reopen at 9am Friday, but services may be limited.
We were operating on generator power on Thursday.
Shoreline Sanitation trash and recycling pick-ups are on schedule.
