Town Hall to Open 1 Hour Later Today
We encourage residents to "shelter in place" first.  If power is out for a short time, it is normally safer for them to stay home than to attempt to travel. Persons should have a supply of bottled water, canned food items, flashlight/batteries, portable radio etc readily on hand.  If residents need to relocate for a short duration, going to a neighbors / friend home nearby is best especially with poor road conditions.

The Town Hall will open at 10am on Wednesday, Feb. 2, because of icy road conditions.

If large scale extended power outages do occur, the town will implement general sheltering operations locally.  At that time shelter locations will be announced
If you experience a power interruption, please report it to CL&P at 1-800-286-2000.
