The Registrars of Voters will hold a special voter-registration sessions at 100 Halls Road (their office location during Town Hall renovation), on Tuesday, October 30, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Registrars Office will be closed on October 27.
Mail-in registrations must be postmarked by Oct. 23 in order for applicants to vote in the Nov. 6 elections.
A limited registration session is set for 9 a.m. to noon on Monday, Nov. 5 for those who turn 18, become U.S. citizens or become residents of Old Lyme after Oct. 30 but before Election Day.
In addition, Nov. 5 is the deadline for those who wish to change party affiliation and still be eligible to vote in the presidential primary on Feb. 5.
