Perhaps the most complicated aspect of the Town Hall expansion project so far has been the relocation of 13 of the staff from Town Hall to other locations. Finding alternate space was a challenge, but we have moved the Land Use, Building, Health, Fire Marshal and Park & Rec. staff to the Marketplace (A&P Shopping Center), on the left side of the main entrance.
Probate and Registrars have been relocated to 100 Halls Road (corner of 156)

The remaining staff will remain in Town Hall. This includes the First Selectman and assistants; Tax Collector, Assessor, Town Clerk, and their assistants, and the Finance Office. Because the contractor will be working in the lower level and on the second floor, we also arranged alternate meeting space. Most board and commission meetings will be held in the meeting rooms of Christ the King Church at 1 McCurdy Rd and the others will be held at the Library, Senior Center and other locations.
